As the Assistant Controller, Revenue, you'll join Coinbase's Accounting team within Finance to own all aspects of revenue recognition across a complex and rapidly expanding suite of crypto products. This team ensures the accuracy and integrity of Coinbase's financial reporting as we scale new offerings globally. You'll lead the application of ASC 606/IFRS 15 to crypto-native transactions, build the scalable processes and controls that support our growth, and serve as the go-to technical accounting resource for revenue across Product, Engineering, and Legal. What you'll do: Own end-to-end revenue recognition for complex crypto-native transactions, including spot trading fees, staking rewards, and institutional product lines, ensuring compliance with ASC 606/IFRS 15 and company policies. Lead month-end and quarter-end close processes for revenue, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and timely financial reporting.
