About this role
Lead Technician Woodward, Oklahoma, United States What The Role Is Reporting to the Wind Site Manager, the Lead Technician will contribution to the day to day operations of the Sleeping Bear wind site, by participating in and monitor the performance of wind turbine mechanical, hydraulic, and electric component maintenance and sub-station activities. The primary objective of this position is to maintain safe, effective, efficient, and profitable wind turbine operations. What You'll Be Doing - Monitor, abide by and enforce safe work practices as they relate to wind plants, wind plant personnel, wind turbine repairs, maintenance, and balance of plant activities - Inspect completed repairs and scheduled maintenance for quality assurance - Troubleshoot complicated mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on Clearway owned equipment - Perform all mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical component maintenance, repair and replacement and ensure others are doing the same in accordance with proper procedure, guidance and to Clearway standards - Use proper tooling and equipment to perform troubleshooting, repair and maintenance activities on Clearway owned equipment - Support in all areas of site operations, including leading crews, as directed by Site Manager and with minimal supervision - Assist in the training and development of lower level operation and maintenance personnel - Ensure crews document all work performed, parts used, and time spent using computer-based service reporting procedures - Responsible for updating manuals, work instructions and technical wind turbine data - Read
