As the Director of Engineering of our Members Platform, you will lead the organization responsible for delivering seamless, secure, and frictionless consumer experiences for CLEAR's members. You will own the platforms powering membership, identity proofing and biometrics-driving strategy, execution, and operational excellence at scale. What you'll do: Define and execute the technical strategy and roadmap for CLEAR's member-facing platforms, including membership, identity proofing and biometrics Lead and develop a team of Engineering Managers and senior ICs, building a high-performing organization focused on growth, accountability, and impact Partner cross-functionally with Product, Security, and Engineering leadership to align on priorities, architecture, and delivery of secure, scalable solutions Own vendor strategy and integrations across our CRM ensuring cost efficiency, reliability, and scalability Establish and uphold engineering standards, driving best practices in system design, reliability, observability, and operational excellence How you'll measure success: Platform reliability and performance, including uptime, latency, and scalability of member-facing systems Delivery against roadmap commitments and successful execution of strategic platform initiatives Cost optimization and efficiency across vendor platforms and infrastructure Strength and growth
