The Role: We are seeking an Experienced Software Engineer to join our Algorithm / Research team, focusing on the design, development and maintenance of high-performance trading systems and their underlying algorithms. - Enhance existing trading strategies and develop tools to support them. - Design, develop, test and deploy new strategies, algorithms and tools. - Play a pivotal role in evolving our platform as we expand our client base. - Acquire a deep understanding of our systems to influence future design decisions. - Other duties as assigned or needed. The Team: Clear Street's Execution Algorithm / Research team focuses on creating innovative strategies that meet our clients' order execution needs. We work closely with our desk traders and sales team to discover new opportunities to enhance client order flow and execution performance. Requirements: - Ideally 10+ years of experience in developing high-performance algorithmic financial applications. - Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Math, or a related STEM field. - Adaptability to a fast-paced, dynamic environment
