Software Engineer: Networking Mandatory Devops with Docker, Linux-based infrastructures, GitHub, Jira, CI/CD Pipelines & Jenkins (10+ Years) Bangalore, India Meet the Team The Cisco Distributed System Engineering (DSE) group is at the forefront of developing products that power the largest networks in the world. The networking industry is going through a massive transformation to build the next generation network infrastructure. We are uniquely positioned to capture that market transition. This team builds platform SDK on Silicon Architecture. They are the developers and leaders who are passionate about tackling complex technology, building large scale distributed systems and comfortable working with both inhouse and open-source technologies. You will be involved with a fast-paced work environment and responsible for end-to-end product development. Your Impact In this role, you will be responsible to build and deploy SDK solution, collaborate with engineering teams, technical leads and architects. You will adopt new development tools and infrastructure, manage release engineering activities, CICD pipelines, come up with efficient build mechanisms and accelerate software development process. You'll also be responsible to ensure that the solution built is secured, safe from cyber security threats and meets global and Cisco standards. As you learn the new technologies, you propose new ideas and implement those continuously in the development process. DevOps, Tools and Infra development: Design and development of DevOps components for network operating systems SDK, hardware infrastructure and platform components. Develop and maintain tools that would accelerate software development focusing on Build, packaging, installation of SDK. Build and maintain Infrastructure component.
