SDWAN - Test Engineer 2 Locations Meet the Team Cisco SDWAN focuses on simplifying and securing enterprise WANs, enabling seamless cloud connectivity, automating network operations and ensuring optimal application performance through advanced SD-WAN solutions Your Impact • Define and drive test strategy and validation architecture for software features on Cisco SDWAN Secure Router Platforms. • Establish end-to-end test strategies covering functional, system, scale, performance, resiliency, security and migration. • Lead customer demos and technical presentations to showcase product capabilities and articulate solution value. • Design and evolve scalable test frameworks, automation platforms, and validation pipelines for enterprise-grade networking. • Collaborate with engineering leaders, product management, hardware, and TAC teams to define quality goals, test scope, and execution strategies. • Mentor team members to enhance technical depth, architectural thinking, and quality leadership. • Represent the test organization in cross-functional forums to influence release decisions, risk assessment, and quality metrics. Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in CS or Equivalent or related degree with 5 to 9 years in Layer 2/Layer 3 or SD-WAN product testing. • Strong testing experience in NAT, Firewall, QoS, BFD, NetFlow, and GRE /IPsec . • Hands-on expertise in IP and IPv6, ARP, DNS, DHCP, AAA, RADIUS, SNMP, EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP. • Experience with HA and redundancy protocols, PKI, certificate management, and Layer 2/Layer 3 security. • Good understanding of SD-WAN architecture and operations, including PNP, ZTP, and Day 0 or Day N workflows. • Strong Linux fundamentals with hands-on virtualization experience in KVM or
