This position will be Hybrid from our San Jose, CA office location. Meet the Team This team crafts manufacturing test solutions for cutting-edge Optical Transceiver products. We are at the very crossroads between Engineering development, Program Management, and Contract Manufacturing and thus in a unique position to influence cross-functional strategy through our expertise and innovation. We're a high-performance team with high transparency, high expectations, and a strong track record of successes. Your Impact Drawing from your industry experience, you'll lead NPI test development of assigned optical transceiver products through their lifecycle from engineering samples to sustaining mode both as a technical leader and individual contributor. You'll be an effective cross-communicator to outside teams, and a patient mentor for junior Test Engineers. Job duties and responsibilities: Validation, characterization, and production test development of optical Transceiver products. Involvement in initial phases of NPI/design to drive DFT/DFM to meet yield/improve test coverage goals. Influence decisions affecting architecture, calibration, test flow and design-for-test during product design phase. Work cross functionally with marketing, design, quality assurance, product and applications engineering teams. Work with Product Engineering to monitor/sustain current product flow in production with offshore contract manufacturing ensuring that cost, delivery and yield goals are met.
