About this role
Director, Marketing Planning & Operations San Francisco, CA, USA About the role We are hiring a Director of Marketing Planning & Operations to help scale how work gets done across our marketing organization. As our operational backbone, you'll build the systems, planning processes, and rhythms that allow teams to move faster, spend smarter, and execute with clarity. You'll sit at the center of marketing-partnering closely with the CMO and leadership team-to turn strategy into structured, high-impact execution. The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $234,000.00 and up to $324,000.00. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience. In this role, you can expect to - Lead annual and quarterly marketing planning, translating business goals into clear OKRs, aligned budgets, and a centralized marketing calendar - Build and run a disciplined operating cadence (weekly, monthly, quarterly) that drives accountability without slowing teams down - Own end-to-end marketing budget management, including forecasting, visibility, and optimization - Design and scale workflows, governance, and systems that increase velocity and reduce friction across teams - Build and maintain a centralized marketing calendar with full visibility into campaigns, launches, dependencies, and capacity - Identify and operationalize AI across marketing workflows to improve output quality and efficiency - Develop and scale marketing operations talent and capabilities across the organization To thrive in this role, you have - 10+ years
