Job Summary Provide engineering and technical support services associated with the design, construction, and operation of CenterPoint Energy's overhead & underground distribution system. Essential Functions Review and analyze customer submitted site plans, structural drawings, electric one-lines, schematics, and load analysis. Use electrical models (CYMDIST) to analyze circuit loading, identify operating issues, make reliability and operational recommendations for the distribution system. Gather information and compiles data from multiple sources (SAP, G.I.S., Distribution Accounts, Service Centers, etc.) to construct electrical model and make recommendations. Prepare Distribution Development Plan documents
