You will act as the primary subject matter expert for the site, ensuring that all shipments comply with U.S. and international trade laws (such as EAR and ITAR) while optimizing logistics efficiency and minimizing duty costs. Detailed Description Program Development: Develop and implement comprehensive Trade Compliance programs that align global corporate standards with local manufacturing site operations. Regulatory Oversight: Oversee import/export applications, registrations, and Customs rulings. Maintain strict adherence to Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classification, valuation, and Country of Origin (COO) guidance. Audit & Risk Management: Conduct regular internal reviews and audits to measure compliance levels. Identify potential risks or violations and implement corrective action plans.
