Staff Engineer, Mechatronics Design City Remote Employee US | State/Province New Hampshire | Country USA Req ID: 132588 Remote Position: Region: Country USA Summary We are seeking a high-caliber Mechatronics Engineer to serve as a global Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the design and implementation of complex Semiconductor capital equipment and industrial automation. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between mechanical design, electronics, and control systems, providing technical leadership to global engineering teams. Acting as a technical bridge between our customers and our global engineering teams, you will serve as a trusted advisor, translating complex client requirements into scalable, high-performance mechatronic solutions. You will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle-from analyzing complex system trade-offs and defining the Engineering Scope of Work (SOW) for global customers to overseeing the finalization of production-ready designs. The ideal candidate is a strategic problem-solver who is equally comfortable providing high-level system architecture input as they are performing rigorous engineering calculations and V&V testing to ensure world-class reliability and performance. This role requires the successful candidate to reside within a 100-mile commuting distance of Norwalk, CT by the start date to support customer visits.
