About this role

Water Resources Engineer - Stormwater/Civil Site Design Under general supervision, you will support a range of water resources and civil site design projects with a strong emphasis on stormwater management, conveyance systems, drainage design, and hydrology/hydraulics for municipal and site development work. You will perform calculations, develop design plans, conduct site evaluations, and contribute to technical deliverables that improve community resilience and infrastructure performance. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers and project managers while also guiding and reviewing the work of junior staff. You'll use firm TKM systems and materials, contribute to technical knowledge development, and may support poster or presentation materials for conferences. What You Will Work On Civil site and water resources design for stormwater systems, open channel flow, culverts, detention/retention, conveyance networks, and green infrastructure. Hydrology and hydraulics analyses for drainage areas, stormwater conveyance planning, and flood mitigation strategies. Field and site evaluations to understand existing conditions, verify design assumptions, and support solution development. Development of design plans, details, and technical specifications for stormwater, conveyance, erosion control, and related civil-site features. Support for water resources work across areas such as watershed management, floodplain assessments, stormwater retrofits, CSO mitigation, ecosystem restoration, pressure conduits, and urban watershed planning. Coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design integration across utility, roadway, environmental, and structural elements. Technical guidance, mentoring, and quality review for junior staff.
