About this role
Senior Project Technical Leader for Treatment Facilities We're looking for a Senior Project Technical Leader to help shape the next generation of wastewater treatment facilities across Texas-and nationwide as opportunities arise. If you enjoy leading talented teams, building trusted client relationships, and delivering complex infrastructure that communities rely on, this role is for you. What You'll Do Lead multidisciplinary teams to design and deliver wastewater treatment facilities and related conveyance infrastructure-from early concepts through signed-and-sealed construction documents. Serve as engineer‑of‑record, performing process modeling, reviewing technical work, and ensuring designs meet federal, state, and local regulations. Apply alternative delivery experience (such as progressive design‑build) to help clients achieve better outcomes. Conduct site visits, studies, and field reviews to ensure designs align with project and location-specific requirements. Update design criteria and perform water quality analyses and modeling as needed to support project goals. Contribute to our firm's technical excellence by developing white papers, documenting innovative approaches, and publishing work in industry journals. Partner with our sales team to develop proposals, including technical scope development and quality review. Build relationships with current and future clients, proactively identifying their needs and representing the firm at conferences, symposia, and industry events. Collaborate with clients, permitting agencies, and project managers to resolve technical questions and keep projects moving smoothly. Mentor, train, and support the growth of junior staff to strengthen our technical bench and grow future leaders.
