About this role
Mid-Level Water Resources Engineer CDM Smith is looking for a Water Resources Engineer with experience in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling of stormwater systems for a diverse portfolio of local and regional clients. The candidate should have 7 or more years of relevant experience with PE licensure and be able to perform basic to high complexity GIS analyses, hydraulic calculations, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, data analysis, and report writing. On site evaluations and/or other field work supporting water resources projects may be required. Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Expert knowledge in civil stormwater design and permitting. • Expert Knowledge of engineering principles of design, including hydraulics as appropriate for technical work. • Proficiency in developing grading plans in CAD is desirable but not required. • Expert Knowledge of HEC RAS. • Expert knowledge of GIS software and practices. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Expert Knowledge of Microsoft business software (excel, word, etc.). • Solid knowledge of other support tools such as mathematical models, scripting languages, etc. #LI-AE1
