About this role

Intermediate Marketing and Communications Specialist Are you a connector and networker who can work across business units to build alliances and drive toward a common goal? Do you have a background in strategic marketing and/or communications? If so, this position may be the opportunity you're seeking. CDM Smith is seeking an intermediate communicator to drive our Technical Services Unit communications and practice growth strategies. The communications team supports our unit directors, technical practice and discipline leaders, promotes our technical experts, and contributes to the firm's leading market position. Responsibilities: - Support practice leaders and technical experts in developing market strategies, presentations, marketing materials, thought leadership articles, and assisting with conference-related activities - Research, interview, write, edit, and publish engaging content for marketing materials, presentations, and unit- or group-wide internal communication messages - Translate technical content from sources, conduct interviews, and synthesize the data into communications materials - Contribute to the development and execution of marketing and communications plans for group or unit programs - Coordinate with individuals around the globe to enhance communications, share in what we do, and connect people across the regions and markets - Collaborate as a member of a communications team and as a member of group leadership team - Contribute to the firm's database of marketing materials including qualifications, fact sheets and other materials Note: Internal candidates may located in any US-based CDM Smith office. External candidates are preferred in Raleigh or Dallas #LI-hybrid
