Engineer/Project Manager I - Water Services Group This is an engineering‑led project management role focused on delivering complex water infrastructure projects. The Water Services Project Manager applies technical judgment and project leadership to manage scope, budget, risk, and client coordination from concept through completion. How You Will Contribute Leads the planning and delivery of water services projects by defining project scope, objectives, schedules, and budgets. Develops detailed statements of work and work breakdown structures, coordinating with internal teams and clients to align on project approach, deliverables, and expectations. Applies established project management practices to assess project risks related to scope, schedule, cost, safety, and quality. Develops and implements risk mitigation strategies, monitors performance metrics, and communicates residual risks to project stakeholders. Ensures projects are executed in accordance with company standards, project management procedures, and contractual requirements. Manages day‑to‑day project financial performance, including cost tracking, forecasting, and support of project profitability. Coordinates with internal billing teams to prepare and review client invoices, supports timely client payment, and follows up on outstanding receivables as needed. Reviews and approves subcontractor and vendor invoices to ensure accuracy and timely payment. Performs ongoing review of project status, monitoring schedule, budget, staffing, and risk throughout the project lifecycle. Manages project changes using established change management protocols, evaluates impacts to scope, cost, and schedule, and works with project teams and clients to implement appropriate adjustments or alternate approaches.
