About this role
Project Manager (Subsea Engineering) Hanover, MD, United States The Project Manager is responsible for managing the successful execution of subsea engineering projects for the delivery of electro-mechanical systems that meet project requirements within the contracted schedule and budget constraints. Manage projects consistent with Oceaneering values and guidelines with respect to safety, quality, and business ethics. Apply knowledge of project management competencies to manage the core elements of a project's integration, scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, communications, risks, procurement and stakeholders in order to meet project requirements, demonstrating proficiency in both the knowledge and application of these skills. Apply knowledge of subsea engineering, communication, leadership, management, cognitive abilities, effectiveness, and professionalism to lead the project team in meeting objectives, demonstrating proficiency in both the knowledge and application of these skills. Lead a diverse team of engineers, drafters, designers, technicians, machinists, consultants, administrative and other personnel, and assigns tasks as guided by the project plan, setting and communicating clear expectations. Autonomously facilitate and operationalize projects to achieve established departmental and organizational goals, while considering all appropriate stakeholders. Briefings & Presentations Lead monthly internal presentations with the OTECH team covering the status of all project operations. Reporting & Summarization Weekly prepare a summary of activities and a consolidated overview for Program/Portfolio Manager Communications & Coordination Manage a cohesive calendar that tracks project milestones and major Out-of-Office (OoO) periods. Support purchasing activities, including purchase request generation, issuance tracking, and PO tracking to ensure timely procurement and alignment with project needs. CDRL Tracking & Deliverables
