About this role

Elevator Operator IV Sidney Requisition Number: 45607 A Day in the Life: The Elevator Operator IV is responsible for performing all operations functions relating to the elevator, control room, weighing/grading, housekeeping and rail loading activities. Employee may also be responsible for assisting in performing routine maintenance of equipment. Position Details: 8am - 4pm, M-F Pay: Starts at $25.00 an hour, plus overtime, train load bonus, and annual bonus What You'll Be Doing: Participate in safety programs and inspections Control room duties, which include continuous monitoring of equipment, processes via computer monitored programs Perform all tasks relating to receiving and blending of grain Work outdoors in the elevator loading/unloading trucks and rail cars Assist in performing routine maintenance tasks Operate mobile equipment and properly utilize miscellaneous hand tools Perform weighing and grading of all commodities and input customer information into One Weigh software Maintain a high level of customer service Perform routine housekeeping Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED Experience working in grain elevator (1-2 years preferred) Ability to work safely Must demonstrate dependability and ability to work in a team environment Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks Computer skill experience is desirable Benefits: Health Benefits - Offering choices so you can enroll in medical, dental and vision plans that meet your individual needs. 401(k) Reti
