Security Manager Additional Posting Location(s) Malaysia-Penang Purpose Statement: Develop and implement an effective global security strategy and program to mitigate risk, safeguard the organization's human assets, intellectual property, integrity, reputation and physical assets to ensure continuity of operations. Responsible for the day to day management of all Physical Security software/applications, working in close collaboration with both the IS and local site security teams and is responsible for implementation and daily operational support of all security applications. Manage and coordinate security efforts with functions across the company, standardizing the security process, as appropriate, and educating all BSC personnel on the benefits of good security and its value to the success of the corporation. Job Respondsibilities: Develop, manage and maintain the Global Security Access Control System, as well as other aspects of the security system to include SQL databases, custom scripts and data flows, maintenance of servers and Installation of client software using remote access technologies while remaining compliant with IS requirements. Work with Global and local teams on overall security system strategies. Perform security related assessments, technical and physical, of BSC's sites globally. Project management of various security related projects and upgrades. Development, implementation of a custom incident report system and investigations database using applicable software. Function as a liaison between BSC and security system
