Our team at the BMW Group develops innovative in-vehicle personal assistants using multimodal large language models. We explore how voice assistance and graphical user interfaces can work together to enhance the in-car user experience and create seamless Human-AI interaction. What awaits you? You will support core development activities using Python, incorporating LLM libraries and Pydantic for enhanced functionality. Furthermore, you contribute to the platform across multiple programming languages and frameworks, including Android Automotive and Azure Pub/Sub. In addition, you help solve complex problems and devise innovative solutions to enhance the MLLM capabilities of our in-vehicle personal assistant. Moreover, you will assist in planning and executing user studies with prototypes to validate concepts. What should you bring along? Studies in computer science, media informatics or a related field.
