About this role

Accountant, Fixed Assets Fort Valley, GA Reporting to the Plant Controller, this role is responsible for supporting fixed assets accounting function. Responsibilities include review/process capex purchase requests, capital asset disposal/transfer, monthly reconciliation of fixed asset subledger, monthly/quarterly/annual accounting close activities, supporting quarterly reviews and annual audit, monitoring internal controls. The candidate must have advanced skills in Excel, strong knowledge of GAAP, ability to reconcile and present complex data, and collaborate cross-functionally
