Our Quality Control Inspector position performs inspections or testing to ensure conformity with the type design engineering data. They document their results, identify defects and report when instances of poor quality items increase. Quality Control Inspectors safely discard or destroy items that don't meet the necessary specifications to prevent unsatisfactory inventory from reaching production. You'll play a key role in ensuring that all products meet our established requirements for reliability and workmanship, as well as other quality control program standards. The ideal candidate has keen attention to detail, and is proficient in using precision dimensional inspection equipment including, but not limited to, calipers and micrometers. How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation: Perform Quality Control inspections & testing per inspection work instructions in an Aerospace manufacturing environment Retrieval and interpretation of technical documents Interpret technical documents and develop inspection work instructions Perform First Article Inspections per AS9102 Complete required documentation and enter into ERP system, create inspection reports as needed Communicate technical requirements to shop personnel Assign traceability to incoming raw material, quarantine, and scrap components Prioritize workflow Maintain measuring equipment Contribute to team effort by
