About this role
Production Manager Country / Location Malaysia O bjectives of the Position Responsible in managing daily production operations to ensure timely, safe, and high-quality production of products, while also focusing on training production personnel, optimizing procedures, and ensuring compliance. Main Responsibilities Ensure all environmental, health and safety rules and guidelines are fully adhered and maintaining high safety standards for a safe working environment. Plan, organize, and manage daily production activities to ensure that production schedules and target quantities are met. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Production Superintendent, Production Supervisors, Boardmen and technicians fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability. Conduct periodic training, performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training needs for team members (including succession planning for roles Boardman and above). Facilitate effective communication within the production team and across departments. Perform internal audits to support ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO 50001 standards. Implement and uphold quality control measures to maintain product quality requirements and consistency within production team. Coordinate production trials, test and implement recommendations from Toray to improve plant operation and product quality as and when required (via MOC process).
