About this role

Logistics Coordinator Country / Location United Kingdom WELCOME TO BASF BASF Pharma Callanish Ltd based on the Isle of Lewis, in the Western Isles of Scotland, and is a global leader manufacturing highly-concentrated omega-3 fatty acids, for pharmaceutical, clinical nutrition and general nutrition applications. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring logistics targets are achieved for site outbound logistics in line with agreed forecasts and BASF policies. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Co-ordination of outgoing logistics, organising and liaising with internal and external stakeholders, transportation companies and customers to ensure customer orders are processed in a timely fashion and customer orders are received on time. End to end order management for customers, ensure received orders are accurate and are processed in SAP in a timely manner. Including order entry, shipments of the foods, invoicing and invoicing control. Credit / debit note creation.Booking and follow up of outbound transportation. Investigate and resolve logistical problems, in partnership with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure all relevant SAP transactions, administrative and Quality Management System actions and documents are accurate and completed in a timely manner. Including all documentation needed for cusotms clearance, transportation and internal usage. Close Liaison with UK Exports team for tax savings and customs procedures for all exports.
