Unix Infra is the team supporting core Unix Infrastructure environment, managing Oracle Exadata, Symantec Storage Foundation and Cluster Services, CPS (Coordination Point Services), Samba, NIS, iDM, LDAP, mailrelay (Sentrion/PPS appliances), Centrify, LDOM, VOM (Veritas Operation Manager), Solaris patching infrastructure, OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager), ASR (Automatic Servis Request) and other UNIX IT services for various internal clients. In this role, you will: • You will be responsible for planning, building, deploying, maintaining and monitoring infrastructure to support a platform that is used by hundreds of internal and external clients. • You will provide Oracle Exadata platform Support and work with DBA, Oracle for daily tasks, expansion and patching support • Provides wide range of system administration in a multi-platform environment • Responsible for general systems administration (Unix/Linux) tasks including system configuration management, OS installations, security updates, urgent system patching • Writes and implements scripts to automate tasks • Ability to identify and troubleshoot hardware and services components that are pro
