What you will be doing: The Team Lead is responsible for leading, overseeing and providing strategic direction to the Canadian Small Business (SB) sales force. This role ensures business strategies, plans and initiatives are executed in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. This is a producing role and therefore the Team Lead delivers this mandate by acquiring deepening and retaining relationships with SB clients and coaches their team to do the same. The Team Lead is a direct manager, player coach and the centre of SB expertise for their assigned territory and has shared accountabilities with Branch Managers for all SB Banking sales in that market. Is this role right for you? In this role, you will: • Lead and drive a client focused culture throughout their team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. • Manage day-to-day sales operations and activities of Advisors. • Provide adequate credit support in complicated deals and assist in high-value client interaction. • Coach, develop and upskill Advisors. • Deliver formal performance reviews and support career growth. • Ensure sales practices are compliant. • Creates an environment in which their team pursues effective and efficient operations of their respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code
