Purpose The Messenger Driver, Messenger Services is responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely transportation/delivery of goods, equipment, or personnel. The Messenger Driver, Messenger Services will be assigned to deliveries both internally and externally. During the Messenger Driver downtime, they will support the department with other duties. The individual assigned to this role requires a strong focus on safety, vehicle care, and route efficiency. The Messenger Driver, Messenger Services should possess through working knowledge of all departmental procedures and will demonstrate a deep understanding of bank core values. The Messenger Service - Driver may operate a variety of vehicles of different licence classes and is expected to follow all relevant transportation regulations and bank policies. Accountabilities The Messenger Driver, Messenger Services is responsible for the drop off and pick up of internal mail, couriers, equipment, and other material, addressed to Scotiabank from third party business throughout the Greater Toronto Area. The Messenger Driver, Messenger Services is responsible for properly identifying items to be transported and verifying instructions to ensure proper distribution.
