Primary purpose of the position: The Security Architect is responsible for designing and governing cybersecurity solution architectures that protect Ball Corporation's enterprise environments while enabling business strategy, digital transformation, and manufacturing reliability requirements. This role ensures cybersecurity controls are designed using secure‑by‑design and secure‑by‑default principles and are aligned to enterprise architecture standards and risk management goals. Working under the direction of the Director, Cybersecurity Architecture & Engineering, the Security Architect provides hands‑on architectural leadership across initiatives spanning IT, cloud, identity, network, endpoint, logging, and OT‑adjacent environments, ensuring designs are scalable, interoperable, operationally sustainable, and measurable.
