About this role
Director, Systems Engineering Remote US Location: US Remote, East or Central Timezones Axonius is seeking a leader for the global IT Engineering team to build secure, automated internal systems as the company scales globally. Reporting to the VP of Global IT & Systems, this role focuses on maturing infrastructure and driving the integration of Generative AI to enhance enterprise workflows. The mission is to lead US and Israel-based teams in delivering a frictionless, SaaS-first digital infrastructure. Responsibilities - Lead a global team of Corporate IT Engineers across US and Israel locations, overseeing the design, maintenance, and evaluation of all corporate systems and endpoints. - Develop and execute a global AI strategy by integrating Generative AI platforms and agentic workflows into business operations to drive functional efficiency. - Architect and oversee robust automation pipelines using Okta Workflows and Workato to improve onboarding velocity and reduce ticket volume. - Establish strategic plans for implementing a scalable Identity and Access Management (IAM) model and automated processes in alignment with budgetary compliance. Minimum Qualifications - 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure with a proven track record of maturing systems in rapidly scaling technology environments. - 5+ years of experience leading technical teams and owning internal IT systems, including influencing senior-level stakeholders. - Proven experience architecting and deploying enterprise-wide Identity and Access Management (IAM) frameworks and cloud-native, SaaS-first architectures. - Hands-on experience managing macOS and Windows-based enterprise environments without reliance on Active Directory or on-site infrastructure.
