About this role
Senior Systems Engineer / Architect Beverly, MA JOB DESCRIPTION Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Systems Design/Architecture Engineer - As Systems Architect, you will be designing, integrating, optimizing and verifying complex ion implantation systems and subsystems. You will bring systems level design thinking to cross-functional teams to drive solutions that are simultaneously compliant to requirements from diverse stakeholders. You will be responsible for analysis of requirements, brainstorming and trade-tables of potential systems architectures and rapid prototyping and testing to integrate subsystems into differentiated, valuable and sustainable products and upgrades. You will perform proactive risk assessments to ensure first-time-right delivery of high-quality products to our customers. As the primary architect of a product line, you will become the subject matter expert on the implanter system and lead technical voice on the product Core Team. Key Responsibilities inclusive but not limited to: Assist in defining Product Requirements Document for NPI projects. Provide systems-level design thinking to guide complex engineering projects which include a mix of data science, electrical and mechanical engineering, physics, chemistry and software algorithm development to funnel team output into a cohesively integrated system. Conceptualize prototypes and tests to rapidly feedback learnings and risks to product and software engineering for ongoing roadmap projects including but not limited to FMEA assessment and testing. Lead investigation teams using structured problem-solving tools such as 8D to drive multi-level solutions to field investigations the escalate beyond Field Service and Product Support.
