About this role

Senior Technical Accounting Analyst Jersey City, NJ, United States Overview: As the Senior Technical Accounting and SEC Reporting Analyst , you will assist with the preparation of annual and quarterly SEC filings. In addition, this role will be responsible for technical accounting research and documentation. The ideal candidate has a strong knowledge of US GAAP & SEC reporting and a commitment to high quality financial reporting. Additionally, you will need to have the ability to implement processes to improve operational efficiency, work with cross-functional teams, and prepare disclosure analysis related to accounting issues, all with a strong sense of ownership and urgency. This highly visible role reports to the Global Controller , work in tight coordination with the Technical Accounting Manager and will work closely with management s and senior Finance leaders as well as cross-functional leaders throughout the company. Key Responsibilities: - Core participation in the quarterly and annual filings with the SEC (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K and others), completing SEC and GAAP checklists, review and tag the financial information in the eXtensible Business Reporting Language (“XBRL”) format for required SEC filings - Participate in the preparation of quarterly press releases, scripts for quarterly earnings call, annual proxy statements, and other documents
