We're searching for a Control Systems Software Engineer to join Aurora's Autonomy Controls Software Team . The team is responsible for designing, implementing, integrating, and verifying the motion control system of the Aurora Driver with all vehicle platforms. In this role, you will - Develop motion control algorithms for a safety-critical system - Analyze control system performance in both offline and on-road execution environments - Verify robustness of system to disturbances, failure modes, and environmental conditions Required Qualifications - Experience building production-quality C++ code - 8+ years of experience working on control systems for vehicle platforms in automotive, aerospace, robotics, or related fields. - Experience in control system design with a solid foundation in control theory - Experience analyzing/simulating nonlinear vehicle dynamics - Knowledge of state
