With five satellites on orbit and many more set to launch soon, the company is servicing a backlog of more than $1 billion of commercial contracts. Astranis is the preferred satellite communications partner for buyers with stringent requirements for uptime, data security, network visibility, and customization. Astranis designs, builds, and operates its satellites out of its 153,000 sq. ft. headquarters in Northern California, USA. Spectrum Engineer As an Astranis Spectrum Engineer, you will help the Spectrum team maintain a large portfolio of GSO orbital slots around the world. We are also constantly searching and filing for additional orbital slots to serve new customer geographies. Your role will require running detailed coordination analyses with both GSO and NGSO systems, and related analyses for Astranis's global network of ground stations. Ideally, you have relevant experience in satellite spectrum coordination and interference analysis - or at least strong RF fundamentals - and are eager to help build and maintain the world's largest portfolio of GSO orbital slot filings.
