Our engineers and space scientists are on a mission to eliminate the connectivity gaps faced by today's five billion mobile subscribers and finally bring broadband to the billions who remain unconnected. This position is based in our satellite production facility in Midland, TX . Position Overview AST SpaceMobile is seeking reliable versatile and skilled Facility General Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning and upkeep of our company's facilities and equipment. This role involves a wide range of maintenance tasks, from routine inspections and preventative maintenance to troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and electronic aptitude, with the ability to perform general maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal functionality and safety. Responsibilities also include maintaining property grounds, performing carpentry, and ensuring all work complies with safety standards. This position requires a proactive individual who can work collaboratively with various departments to minimize downtime and maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities. Compensation & Schedule - Pay: $24 hour based on experience, with overtime opportunities. - Schedule: Shift 1: Monday through Friday, 7am- 4pm with paid lunch and breaks . - Flexibility: with available overtime daily
