About this role
Robotics Software Engineer London | OnSite About us Arthur Robotics is solving dexterity for general-purpose robotics, creating next-generation automation solutions inspired by the human hand. We're a small start-up pushing the bounds of hardware and software research from our lab in Somerset House, London. We building a product to automate any industrial process - from fastening nuts and bolts, to routing flexible wire harnesses, to packaging delicate pieces of fruit. Since being founded in January 2025, we've already demonstrated breakthrough dexterous manipulation capabilities, and we're now developing the infrastructure needed to bring our platform to market. The work is an equal split between research and engineering, and includes - Realtime full-stack robot control loops - low latency sensor fusion, inference and motor control - Building end-to-end pipelines for distributed physical AI - data collection, model architecture and training - Developing novel robot learning techniques tailored to our unique hardware - Implementing and rapidly iterating on frontier robotics and physical AI research papers Recommended Experience - Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar - 2 years of software engineering experience in industry - Familiarity with core robotics concepts (inverse kinematics, controls, image processing) We're funded by the UK's Advanced Research and Invention Agency.
