Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience and other relevant factors Electrical Engineer / Project Engineer Armstrong World Industries, Inc. (AWI) has an opening for an Electrical Engineer / Project Engineer located in Macon, GA. This role is responsible for providing engineering and technical support to manufacturing operations, supporting maintenance systems and production processes, driving process improvement and cost reduction initiatives, and managing the selection, design, and installation of capital projects. The position works closely with plant engineering teams and plays a key role in Lean manufacturing efforts, root cause analysis, reliability improvement, and continuous operational improvement. What You'll Be Doing Engineering & Technical Support Provide engineering and technical assistance to manufacturing operations, maintenance systems, and production processes Support plant reliability and performance improvement initiatives Investigate manufacturing and equipment issues and implement corrective actions Consult with production personnel to analyze operational data and improve process effectiveness Educate plant personnel on engineering and technical concepts to improve operational understanding Coordinate training and startup activities for new equipment and proce
