Control Systems Technician State/ Province Ohio | Job Search Country United States Primary location: Hilliard, Ohio Employment status: Full Time Job Output Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Manager, the Control Systems Technician will provide electrical maintenance and programming support to maintenance technicians as necessary, including sickness coverage. The Controls System tech will also support and carry out duties and project work assigned. This position will follow the direction and guidance of the Electrical Engineer. This position is accountable for effective use and implementation of Predictive Maintenance technologies and systems at the plant. This includes but is not limited to the following “Essential Functions” outlined below: Pay Rate - $44.82 to $47.01 based on skill level. Essential Functions Carry out root cause failure analysis on production electrical/control systems and provide recommendations and execute work to prevent recurrence. Lead/participate in cross functional teams on process improvements. Provide support regarding fault finding/modifications/installations of whole site controls systems including PLCs, SCADA, Databases, Communication networks, Instrumentation, variable speed drives etc. The incumbent must be willing and able to work overtime and/or non-standard work schedule based on production needs. Manage process control software and desktop Assists with plant process control network and IP address assignments Assist with Plant Data Historian Helps develop electrical control infrastructure ob
