Shift Supervisor - Frankfort, IN Shift Supervisor - Frankfort, IN This is a full-time, exempt level position. Position Summary: This is a full-time exempt salary position at a Soybean Oil Processing facility. Work is on night & evening shifts with regular weekend work. Supervising the daily activities of safety, quality, and production procedures as well as leading employees in all aspects of production during shift. Job Responsibilities: - Display a dedication to lead, participate, and support all safety, quality, and environmental rules and regulations applicable to the position - Be responsible for the daily plant operations, which include safety and environmental compliance, food safety, quality control, production, cost optimization and efficiencies. - Responsible for ensuring accurate cleaning and sanitation of site. - Maintain good working relationships with all employees. - Supervise, review, and suggest/direct initiatives for continuous improvement in all areas of plant operations. - Review employee performance and assist in employee development. - Observes equipment throughout plants and report concerns to Department Superintendents - Give feedback on a routine basis to all employees. - Assist with daily production records as needed. - Perform other related duties as assigned. - Flexibility to work any shift required, including weekends and holidays as applicable. - Ability to direct others, make timely decisions, and complete safety and work permits, as well as production logs. - Results driven to provide support to achieve the goals established by management. - Ability to analyze information quickly to provide feedback in the manufacturing process and troubleshoot equipment
