Maintenance Technician - Erlanger, KY Maintenance Technician - Erlanger, KY SAFETY /HOUSEKEEPING - Enforces safety protocols and procedures:, Know company policy to maintain a safe work environment; enforce compliance between ALL team members, operations , maintenance, support groups. - Equipment Certifications: Do not operate equipment unless being certified to operate the equipment. - PPE: Comply with the plant's PPE requirements. - Tools: Know the safe usage of all tools, Lock out and report tools that are unsafe. Fully understand the proper use of needed tools before utilizing. - Equipment: Do not work on equipment that is energized or unfamiliar. Especially the area where the work is centered. - Attend Safety Training: Work with the supervisor to know assigned training schedule; related to the work environment and its hazards. and know equipment safety guidelines. - Housekeeping: Ensure the shop/work area is clean and orderly when work is finished. MAINTENANCE SHIFT START-UP / SHIFT END - Conduct Tech-to-Tech Handoff to: - Review previous shift major occurrences - Learn the troubled equipment, not fully repaired - Understand activity completed to set up the next shift - Attend Shift Huddle Meeting to: - Learn the previous day's performance - Review top 3 downtime reasons, previous day - Know the day's priority work - Review planned work; ask questions WORK ORDER MANAGEMENT - Planned Work Orders: Review all planned Work Orders assigned, ask questions regarding any plan uncertainty that exists. - Close Work Order: Prior to leaving the worksite complete the Work Order with a
