Industrial Electrician - Macon, IL Industrial Electrician - Macon, IL This is a full-time, non-exempt position Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience to join our team. This position is focused on industrial environments such as plants, facilities, and heavy equipment sites. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, and capable of working independently in demanding industrial settings. Position Responsibilities: - Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems and equipment - Perform conduit running (EMT, rigid, and PVC) in industrial environments - Troubleshoot electrical systems, machinery, motors, and control circuits - Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and single-line drawings - Install and terminate panels, disconnects, MCCs, motors, and industrial lighting - Work safely around live equipment, machinery, and production areas - Follow all site-specific safety procedures and company policies - Coordinate with supervisors, maintenance teams, and other trades Position Requirements: - Minimum of 4 years of industrial electrical experience - Proven ability with conduit running and electrical troubleshooting - Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and safety practices - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Reliable transportation and consistent attendance Preferred (Not Required): - Experience with motors, VFDs, PLCs, or control panels - Plant maintenance or heavy industrial construction experience Benefits: - Competitive pay based on experience - Overtime opportunities - Health benefits and paid time off - Long-term, steady work with advancement opportunities ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.
