Extraction Superintendent - Valdosta, GA Extraction Superintendent- Valdosta, GA This is a full-time, exempt position. Position Summary: The Extraction Superintendent will coordinate and oversee day-to-day activities of the Valdosta soybean crush plant. This position is responsible for the safe, successful and progressive day-to-day operational activities and maintaining compliance with company policies, government regulation and regulatory agencies (OSHA, EPA, DNR, FDA, USDA, FRA, HACCP, etc.). The position also is responsible to deliver quality specs and standards, commercial demands, improve processes, train and develop team members. Job Responsibilities: - Responsible for safe and efficient operations in all areas in compliance with all environmental and regulatory requirements and guaranteeing quality and standards of the products meet the expectations of our customers and our operations. - Respond to plant, process, personnel, product, and environmental emergencies. - Ensure successful day-to-day operation of the Processing facility, in areas of safety, environmental, quality, and production. - Work closely with the Plant Manager to carry out plant specific goals and objectives. Plan strategically for both short- and long-term goals. - Coordinate and assist the Refinery and De-lint Superintendent with their respective operations as needed. - Involvement with the management of policies and procedures that ensure compliance with health and safety, environmental, food safety, sanitation, quality policies, and procedures. - Assist in troubleshooting production problems, optimizing yields, productivity, and controlling costs. - Provide leadership for colleague development as well as establishing and achieving plant goals. - Plan and execute a strategically plan on maintain and improve operation on short,
