Auburn operational needs-e.g., shifting to Tuesday-Friday when a Monday holiday occurs, or adjusting around midweek holidays. Harvest hours will vary. Need ability to work 6 days a week during peak times. ) Position Summary: ADM is seeking a dependable, safety-focused Elevator Worker to join our grain operations team in Mt. Auburn, Illinois. This hands-on role is essential to the safe and efficient operation of the facility, supporting daily activities such as receiving, handling, drying, storing, and loading grain. Elevator Workers help maintain smooth product flow and a clean, safe work environment while operating in a fast-paced agricultural setting. Key Responsibilities: Responsibilities at the Mt. Auburn facility may include, but are not limited to: - Loading and unloading grain from trucks and railcars using both automated and manual equipment - Operating and monitoring grain dryers, conveyors, elevators, and other material handling systems - Supporting receiving and shipping operations, ensuring accurate documentation and safe product transfer - Performing regular housekeeping duties including sweeping, vacuuming, shoveling grain, and cleaning equipment to maintain a clean, tour-ready facility - Conducting routine walk-throughs to identify product flow issues, equipment concerns, or potential safety hazards - Assisting with basic maintenance and troubleshooting of grain handling equipment - Supporting seasonal activities, including pre-harvest preparation and post-harvest cleanup - Monitoring equipment performance
