Dock/Utility Worker - Peru, IL Dock/Utility Worker - Peru, IL ADM Terminal Services This is a full time, hourly position. Job Summary: Load and unload sand trucks. Cover and uncover barges. Set up and run facility equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Basic housekeeping: including sweeping and shoveling of sand. Duties and Responsibilities: - Operate truck dumps - Load and unload sand trucks - Operate MCC controls for equipment - Perform maintenance on conveying equipment - Keep work area clean - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds - Ability to climb ladders and stairs - Ability to adapt to ever changing job responsibilities - Exhibit regular and prompt attendance - Willing to work overtime, weekends and nights - Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in a team setting when needed - Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and respectful attitude - Ability to work with heights, work in confined spaces - Work in environmental conditions, such as hot and cold temperatures and a dust environment *This is a full time position with varying shifts.* Qualifications: To be considered for an opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria: - High school education or equivalent is preferred - Commitment to ADM's goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures - Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending,
