Crane Operator B - Westwego, LA Crane Operator B - Westwego, LA This is a full-time, hourly level position. Position Summary: - ADM is seeking a qualified candidate to work as a crane operator on a mid-stream stevedoring rig based out of our American River Transportation Company (ARTCo) in Waggaman, LA. Job Responsibilities: - Operate crane in midstream stevedoring operations discharging various cargos by bucket/hook - Inspection of crane, associated equipment and applicable rigging necessary for safe and productive operation - Lead and train stevedore personnel in operations and care of stevedoring production assets - Oversee crane/rig insuring that care, housekeeping, cleaning and maintenance is maintained to Company standards - Coordinate with shift lead and rig crews to accomplish safe and productive crane operations - Complete a variety of required forms electronically and on paper - Lead rig personnel in completing required training and documentation - Additional duties and responsibilities as required or requested by management Job Requirements: - Previous experience operating cranes in a stevedoring environment - ADM approved crane operator certification or ability to obtain one within 90 days - Ability to follow direction and execute tasks under the supervision of the Shift Lead or operations management - Ability to execute and assist with inspection and maintenance of crane and associated components, including but not limited to general maintenance, cable changes, lubricants, and bucket maintenance - Reading and writing skills sufficient to comprehend/complete a variety of documents - Computer skills sufficient to safely and productively operate crane and
