About this role

TouchID Sensor Design and Integration Electrical Engineer San Francisco Bay Area, United States of America Imagine shaping the future of how people interact with technology. As a key member of our Sensing Systems team, you'll design, develop, and launch the next generation of Touch ID sensors, integral to the security and seamless user experience of Apple's iconic products. You'll bring devices to life, enabling them to understand and respond to their users in ways previously unimagined! Join the Touch ID team and play a pivotal role in developing ground breaking fingerprint biometric sensors. You'll be responsible for the entire sensor development lifecycle, from schematic capture and module design to validation and integration across the supply chain. Your expertise in analog and digital circuit design, PCB design, signal integrity, and electrical failure analysis will be crucial in defining technical strategies and driving innovation. We are looking for a passionate and experienced electrical engineer with a strong foundation in analog fundamentals and a proven track record of taking electrical designs into mass production. You're a collaborative teammate with excellent communication skills and a drive to push the boundaries of what's possible. Design, develop, and validate Touch ID sensors for Apple products. Lead multi-functional teams in integration discussions and coexistence assessments. Define technical strategy and convergence plans, presenting regularly to leadership. Collaborate on high-volume mass production, ensuring quality and performance. Apply your expertise in analog and digital circuit design, PCB design, and signal integrity. Minimum Qualifications: Strong EE analog fundamentals with demonstrated experience
