The Siri and Information Intelligence team is revolutionizing how hundreds of millions of people utilize their devices to access information. As an Applied ML team, we are pushing the boundaries to provide our users with the utmost optimal direct, secure, and privacy-preserving experiences, simultaneously delivering Apple-level design and aesthetics through generative AI techniques. Our team comprises a diverse range of backgrounds, including applied machine learning engineers with a focus on ML and LLM, and experienced distributed systems engineers. As such, we are seeking candidates with applied machine learning experience and strong software engineering skills. Leverage and enhance the latest advancements in machine learning and software engineering to effectively contribute to the successful delivery of generative experiences. Develop world-class evaluation techniques to ensure the accurate measurement and calibration of model responses. Collaborate with diverse teams, including infrastructure, quality, data, product, and design, to develop innovative features and contribute to the creation of an exceptional search experience for our end-users. Mentor aspiring applied scientists and engineers to broaden their horizons and amplify their impact. Contribute to the formation of a world-class team! Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Information Retrieval, Data Science or related field or equivalent work experience 6+ years of industry related experience, working in collaborative environments Experience with using: PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX for training and deploying deep learning
