About this role
Product Quality Manager Cupertino, United States of America The Product Quality Manager has overall, end-to-end quality responsibility for a range of diverse Beats and Apple accessories. This is a highly visible, hands-on role that works across multiple products, suppliers, management levels, and functions to ensure that the products fulfill the promise of Apple Quality of fit, form, and function. This role involves partnerships with Engineering, Product Design, Program Management, Product Integrity, AppleCare, and component teams. Strong technical, presentation, and organizational skills are essential. This role surpasses conventional quality execution. It is specifically designed for individuals who possess the ability to evolve into AI-driven quality systems initiatives. These initiatives will leverage data, automation, and predictive analytics to proactively identify and mitigate potential failures before they manifest. Support entire program development cycle, from design concept through program end of life Own product quality planning and execution across incoming quality, in-line quality, outgoing quality, ongoing reliability testing, and field quality Establish new methods for monitoring and reporting status, including Incoming Quality Control (IQC), Outgoing Quality Control (OQC), and Ongoing Reliability Testing (ORT) Develop and implement user testing to ensure compatibility with other systems, identify potential problems, and help engineering teams implement solutions Plan field quality readiness for new product launch partnering with AppleCare and engineering, including planning and driving Early Field Failure Analysis (EFFA) Spearhead innovative new ways to identify and resolve customer-facing issues Implement best practices and learnings across manufacturing sites and products Lead data-driven approaches to failure analysis, identifying root causes,
