The Camera Semiconductor Technologies group is responsible for all research, design, development, test, and qualification of core technologies that enables revolutionary features on Apple products, such as FaceID and LiDAR Scanner. As an Optoelectronic Test Development Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and integrating test hardware intended for a mass production environment. You will craft and develop solutions for calibrating, characterizing, and testing semiconductor photonic devices for Apple products. You will work on test algorithm and hardware development during the engineering stage, with support from the SW/HW cross-functional teams. Developing industry-leading calibration and metrology methodology Develop / validate algorithms for test metrology which are deployed on MP test stations Collaboration with tester hardware suppliers to develop a validated test solution Conduct failure analysis to understand the root cause of tester malfunction or inaccuracy Provide written documentation of tool specifications and failure analysis
