Accessibility Software Quality Engineer - Physical & Motor Tools and Framework Cupertino, United States of America The Accessibility Quality & Livability team focuses on end-to-end testing of assistive technologies and the accessibility of Apple products to ensure that they are not only accessible but provide an exceptional experience for users with disabilities. At Apple we believe that technology is most powerful when it empowers everyone. Our team is seeking a Software Quality Engineer to qualify industry-leading assistive technologies, while ensuring our mainstream software products maintain world-class levels of usability and performance for customers with accessibility needs. The ideal candidate has significant experience in quality assurance testing and knowledge of modern assistive technologies. Minimum Qualifications: You are comfortable writing technical bug reports and comprehensive test plans. You have experience using command line interface to collect logs and diagnose problems. Your written and technical communication skills are excellent. You have deep knowledge of various assistive technology features, especially Apple's. Preferred Qualifications: You are upbeat, adaptable, and results-oriented. You have a track record of working cross-functionally as a problem solver. You have a proactive approach to tasks that demonstrates self-motivation and critical thinking capabilities. You have experience prioritizing, tracking, and driving initiatives on a daily basis. You are committed to Apple's vision of supporting the accessibility community. You have experience using bluetooth switches, power wheelchair joysticks, mouth wands, or other similar assistive technologies Fluency in multiple spoken languages. Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, or relevant work experience.
