What the day will look like Prepare, analyze, and report on financial results, clearly articulating key performance drivers and trends. Partner with business leaders as a strategic finance advisor, providing actionable insights to support decision-making and drive improved financial outcomes. Access and synthesize data from multiple financial systems and databases to develop and present clear business analyses and recommendations to management. Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting processes, as well as the annual budgeting process, including data collection, validation, and analysis. Support the monthly close process through revenue and expense analysis, preparation of journal entries, and development of variance commentary. Provide financial analysis to support achievement of financial objectives, including budgeting, forecasting, variance tracking, and profitability analysis. Support the annual incentive compensation process with financial modeling and analysis. Perform deal modeling and scenario (“what-if”) analysis to evaluate financial impact and support commercial decisions. Provide financial governance for Cost Benefit Analyses (CBAs), including development, approval support, and ongoing tracking of actual project costs and realized benefits against approved CBAs.
